Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central in the Senate, has announced that she is ready to reveal key details regarding her recent confrontation with Senate President Godswill Akpabio and other significant issues within the Senate.

The Senator made the statement on her verified Facebook page early Thursday morning in response to a petition filed against her by a Northern youth group, which was forwarded to the Senate’s Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions.

As reported by LEADERSHIP, earlier this week, the Kogi Central Senator was referred to the same committee after her clash with the Senate President over seating arrangements in the Senate Chamber.

In reaction to the ongoing developments, Akpoti-Uduaghan expressed her readiness to face the investigation and called on Nigerians to support her. She also emphasized her intention to ensure that the proceedings be broadcast live on television.

She wrote, “Good morning, courageous people of Kogi Central, Kogi State, and Nigeria.

“I was made aware of this petition just a few hours ago.

“While I have chosen not to speak publicly on this matter, or on several events happening under Senate President Akpabio’s leadership, the time has come for me to speak up.

“Arise News, set a date, and I will be there in person. Ask me anything.

“And to Nigerians, please make sure to follow the investigation, which I will insist be broadcast live.

“The coming days and weeks are bound to be eventful and will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Nigeria’s leadership.”
